We get you to fill out our Website Design brief. This allows us to quote your job accurately as well as getting a good feel for your expectations with regard to design and functionality.
Once you have accepted our quote, we send you a Project Contract which will contain all the specifics of the project including timelines and payment details. Website projects require a 50% deposit before project start with the remainder to be paid two month from project start or at website upload, whichever occurs first.
Once the Project Contract is signed and the deposit is paid we create a sample page design and load it on the internet for you to view.
We tweak this design according to your feedback and direction until design approval is reached.
From this point we build all the site pages with working navigation and once this is done we require all the site content. We prefer clients to provide this to us in a word document.
We drop your site content into the relevant pages and once this is done we load the site to our test server. From here we make any small changes or fixes that may be required and then once we have approval and the final project payment, we upload your website live.
The logo design process:
We get you to fill out our Logo Design brief. This allows us to get a good feel for your expectations with regard to design and also quote for your requirements.
Once you have accepted our quote, we send you a Project Contract which will contain all the specifics of the project including timelines and payment details. We require a $440 deposit (to cover the first 4 hours of logo design work) before project start.
Once the Project Contract is signed and the deposit is paid we create a set of logo concepts for you. The minimum number of concepts we will offer is three, but we usually offer more than this.
At this point you will choose the concept(s) that you would like to develop further and provide feedback according to what you would like to see.
We go back and forth with you tweaking the preferred concepts under your direction until a final logo is decided on and approved by you.
We then invoice you for the remainder of hours spent on your job and once payment is received, we provide you with your logo in its various formats and applications (jpeg/eps, colour/black and white).
The graphic design process:
Usually for graphic design jobs, clients provide a brief via email and we provide an estimate of the number of hours we expect the job to take.
Once you are happy with the estimate, we require all content to provided in a word document and imagery to be provided as high res jpegs or eps files.
We then design and typeset the item and send you a pdf of the initial draft.
The design is then tweaked to approval. It is expected that no graphic design job be subject to any more than 3 proofing stages:
Proof 1: Changes made to initial draft. Any major changes to the layout or copy are made here.
Proof 2: Only the most minor of changes are made and all spelling/grammatical errors should be addressed here.
Proof 3: This should be the sign off proof from which the item is sent to print.
NB: Any design job that is still having changes made at the Proof 3 stage will usually incur extra charges.
At this point we either send your job to print (if we are organising the printing for you) or we will send you a press ready file to send to your printer (if you are printing the job yourself).
If the job needs to be submitted to a newspaper or magazine, we are able to do so via Websend.
