ENVIRONMENT
MillBridge will ultimately be home to some 3,000 residents, a private school site, a second school site, a neighbourhood shopping centre and commercial precinct. Adjacent to the well established suburb of Eaton, being only an eight minute drive from the Bunbury CBD, MillBridge Private Estate is well placed to be able to offer its new residents all of the educational, employment and recreational services and facilities that they will need. The main features of MillBridge Private Estate are Millars Creek which runs through the centre of the Estate and the Collie River which extends along the northern boundary of the Estate.
As part of the MillBridge Private Estate ethos, large areas of green open space have been set aside along the Creek and River banks, providing excellent recreational opportunities.
Formerly grazed by cattle, the banks of the Collie River and Millars Creek will be rehabilitated from a degraded state back to pristine condition.
Both of these waterways are significant wetlands providing a multitude of aquatic and semi-aquatic plants, a diverse species of native birds, animals and fish will provide excellent recreational opportunities for children and adults alike.
